MISSION
contribution to protection of civil, social, economic and cultural rights of the population in the Republic of Tajikistan by means of research, education, provision of legal aid through a defence lawyer, advocacy and any other legal assistance that is not in contradiction with the legislation.
The Organisation shall function in compliance with gender equality principle.
The organisation mainly focuses on poor and vulnerable people and helps them to protect and defend their rights and strengthen their participation in the process of democratization and improve their status in society.
Types of activity:
- Improve effectiveness of the Public Organisation “Rights and Prosperity” through building capacities and skills, improvement of the management structure of the Organisation and its implementation in practice.
- Provide legal assistance and legal representation based on the civic contract in courts and other public bodies to protect human rights and freedoms, primarily of the poor people, women, orphans, social orphans, refuges, persons with disabilities, stateless persons and other groups of populations in the need of assistance.
- Look for legal and international funding to implement charity programmes.
- Undertake other charity activities that are not in contradiction with the legislation.
- Conduct studies on pertinent problems of the population in the framework of Organisation’s activities.
- Conduct educational activities (trainings, seminars);
- Conduct awareness raising events (through round tables, meetings, conferences, publications in mass media, radio, TV programs, drafting and dissemination of booklets, magazines and reference materials).
- Hold advocacy campaigns (to promote interests of target groups at all levels of executive and legislative powers) to change the relevant legislation.
